2009 Mid-America Region Little Scholars Announced Click here for Liberty's list of scholars

All-American Scholastics

Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status. To be eligible, the participant must be currently enrolled in the fifth grade or higher and have a 96% or better GPA on his previous year’s report card. Each participant’s application is submitted to the Mid-America Region Pop Warner and scored on GPA along with an additional addendum noting any non-sporting activities and achievements to determine their selection to 1st Team, 2nd Team or Honorable Mention All-American. Additionally, the top 35 football players and top 25 cheerleaders per grade (plus ties) nationwide are selected as National 1st Team or 2nd Team All-Americans, announced each year on April 1st.
