(stripped down/minus equipment) for the first game of the season.
After the first game there is a weight increase allowance of 1 lb. per
week up to a maximum of 9 lbs. For example, if a Mitey-Mite player
weighs 90 lbs for the first game they may weigh 99 lbs for the 10th game
of the season. |

Kids compete with kids of similar
age and size.
Pop Warner sets and enforces a strict age/weight matrix that reduces the
risk of injuries.
Players will be assigned to the
"youngest" division available based on their age/weight.
