| 2011 All-American Little Scholars |
Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids
compete for Academic All-American status. To be eligible, the
participant must be currently enrolled in the fifth grade or
higher and have a 96% or better GPA on his previous year’s
report card. Each participant’s application is submitted to the
Mid-America Region Pop Warner and scored on GPA along with an
additional addendum noting any non-sporting activities and
achievements to determine their selection to 1st
Team, 2nd
Team or Honorable Mention All-American. Additionally, the top 35
football players and top 25 cheerleaders per grade (plus ties)
nationwide are selected as National 1st Team or 2nd
Team All-Americans, announced each year on April 1st.
Congratulations to the following Liberty Blue Jay football
players and cheerleaders who,
because of their exceptional academic achievement, were selected
as first team or second team Mid-America Region Little Scholars
