Volunteer Positions - *Football & Cheerleading* - Apply NOW:

Head and Assistant Coaches Wanted: (including coaches wishing to return) Liberty Pop Warner is looking to provide the very best to all participants and will be selecting the most qualified candidates for the upcoming season.  Responsibilities include: planning, supervision and instruction at practices and games; communication with parents; carrying out the directives of the LPW board to ensure all program rules and policies are being observed.  You must have the ability to work well with children and possess exceptional knowledge of football or cheer.  Practice and game time commitment is 8-10 hours per week, plus planning time.

Team Business Managers and Team Equipment Managers Wanted: Team Business Managers (team parent) are primarily responsible for: communication between the coach, board and parents; arranging for other team volunteers (chain gang, snacks, stats keeper); ensuring all team paperwork is complete, collecting and distributing order forms/pmts for coach shirts, spiritwear, decals, pictures, etc; arranging the year end team party.  Team Equipment Managers are responsible for assisting the LPW Equipment Director with the fitting/distribution of equipment, ensuring each player's equipment is serviceable throughout the season and making adjustments/repairs as necessary.

Youth Tackle Football & Cheerleading Sign-up Info

Dates:  April, May & June TBA     Time: TBA    Location:  Shoal Creek Elementary

 

 · League space is limited; sign-up early to ensure your

    placement on a team.

 · Fee:  TBD (2009 fee was $255 for  football or cheer)
  · Sibling Discount:  $30 per additional family member
  · Jersey Discount:  jersey re-use policy TBD

 · Bring your participant with you to sign-ups to be 

    measured, weighed and fitted with equipment

 · Required documents:  Copy of Birth Certificate, Copy 

    of complete '09/'10 Grade Card, Physical Form (due  

    by 8/1), Contract Addendum and Equipment Policy

Liberty Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading serves Liberty and Kansas City youth, ages 5 - 13, living within the Liberty Public School District Boundaries, and includes both future Liberty Blue Jays and Liberty North Eagles. Practices are held locally beginning August 1 and a 10 game season is played Saturdays at the Heart of America football complex in Independence, Missouri.  LPW is a member of the Heart of America Pop Warner League of Independence, Missouri, and the Mid-America Pop Warner Region of Chicago, Illinois.
